say goodbye of your loved one. GOFON is the first online funeral platform in Belgium.
GOFON takes care of funerals throughout Belgium, including Flanders region, Wallonia and Brussels.
Below you can find a brief history of how GOFON was created and who founded it.
GOFON Online Funerals was founded by GORSEN-FONTEYNE funeral company.
It all started on the 1 October 1989 when Daniel and Kristel Gorsen-Fonteyne decided to establish the funeral company GORSEN-FONTEYNE. They located the funeral home in Groot-Bijgaarden, and in the year 2000 they opened a second location in Zellik.
Together Daniel and Kristel want to take all worries out of you in the event of a loss of a family member or loved one, and guide you step by step through this difficult period.
When organizing a funeral, time is always taken to ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible, with the utmost discretion and peace of mind.
Over the years, Daniel and Kristel have not only gained experience but also know how to support and guide their families the best, always with a warm smile.
Because digitization plays a major role in today’s society, they started thinking a little further and so came up with the idea to plan and order a funeral online.
Making it accessible to everyone and taking away a lot of worries and stress is the goal of GOFON.
