In which region can GOFON take care for a funeral?
GOFON Online Funerals is operative throughout Belgium. This means the region Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels.
How does the payment work?
You can pay through the site itself after you completed all the steps for arranging the funeral. You can pay with maestro, mastercard or visa.
If you want to pay with Bancontact at our office, near Brussels, that is also possible after making an appointment.
Other locations also possible at request.
Payment through bank transfer is also possible.
I want another burial concession than the one in the package?
On specific request, it is possible to opt for another burial concession, please contact us for this.
This can be done before or after the funeral is ordered, at the latest 3 working days before the funeral takes place.

Date of funeral?
The date of the funeral is always determined in consultation with the funeral director.
As far as possible, the preferred date that you indicate when ordering is always taken into account.
The usual time between the day of death and the funeral is 4 to 5 days.
Proof of mourning letters and mourning cards?
You will receive one proof of the mourning letter and one proof of the mourning card by mail. After this you can either approve the example or pass on possible adjustments.
Once the mourning letters have been printed, a time will be agreed when you can pick them up at our office near Brussels. Or we can also send it by post to your address.
The funeral cards are handed out during the funeral ceremony.
If you need extra mourning letters or pictures afterwards, this is always possible.
This will be invoiced separately as a supplement and must be paid upon delivery, by Bancontact or cash.
Choice of crematory?
GOFON Online Funerals works together with every crematory in Belgium. Below is a list of all crematories and a link to their website.
You can always indicate your preference of crematory when ordering a funeral.
I want a moment after the funeral with the option to drink or eat?
You must arrange and pay for this yourself.
We can always send you some recommendations regarding locations where you can have such an event.
